Joshua Lloyd-Lyons is an Associate in Met Zurich’s Special Situations division. He works on sourcing venture-stage technology transactions, performing financial modelling and analysis, and financial structuring. Josh has a particular interest in the Internet of Things, Fin-tech, and applied blockchain technology verticals.
Josh completed his summer internship as the first ever analyst in KKR’s Private Equity division in EMEA; working for the Next Generation Technology growth equity fund. Josh's previous experience includes working at Cairn Capital, executing a macro-focused long-short corporate credit strategy.
Josh studied at the London School of Economics, specialising in Complex Adaptive Systems Theory & Fractal Models of Asset Returns, and in the philosophical dimensions of the Relativity of Simultaneity and the Quantum Mechanical macro-objectification problem. While at the LSE, Joshua founded and led a charitable organisation associated with the LSE student union to provide career resources and vocational education to students, raising over £50,000 from financial sponsors such as Goldman Sachs, Man Group & JP Morgan.
